This stay was amazing! After missing out on multiple airbnb’s in Emerald Isle, my friends and I settled on this one for our Spring Break trip. This stay ended up being better than any of the other stays we were monitoring! Great location and quiet neighborhood. Clean house and beautiful beach view. Hope to visit again soon!

We had such an amazing experience in this house. It is right at the beach, and access is just a short walk to the beach. The view was amazing; we could see the beach from each of the deck levels and all the cute beach houses.

The garage had plenty of space for all our beach toys. Everyone loved the hot tub, and there were plenty of beds to accommodate large groups. The grill worked great, outdoor shower essential, and has great access to pier, restaurants, aquariums, parks, and town.

The location was perfect. We could easily walk to get donuts, go to the park, get fishing gear, or go eat.

We weren’t able to arrive on Saturday due to some travel conflicts but rented the house sat-sat. The host recognized that we didn’t arrive until late Tuesday night, and let us stay an additional two nights for free! We were blown away with this generosity, and I’m sure they can’t do this often, but because it was off-season, and no other guests were arriving the next day.

So much fun with great hosts that are very accommodating. If you need a place, this one is amazing!

Exterior: Excellent location. Walking distance to Flip Flop Donuts, The Village Market, Sweet Spot, The Trading Post, and nearby pier. 5 minute drive to Publix/Food Lion. 12 minute drive to the west end of the island for gorgeous view of sunset and channel. In the heart of things, yet tucked away. Private. Safe area in terms of kids riding bikes or scooters. Ocean Dr. is blocked so there is no thru traffic. Gorgeous trees on all sides. Loved hearing the birds chirp in the morning and afternoon. Lots of chairs on the deck so everyone can be outside. Great views of the ocean. Easy to view sunrise and sunset from top deck. Outside shower conveniently located near hot tub. String lighting over hot tub/grill area for fun atmosphere at night. Open space on opposite side of the house has room for corn hole or a game of pickle.

Interior: Fantastic decor. Hotel/spa-like vibe. Very clean, fresh, intentional, comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Alexa. A “common area” on each floor where you can break away into smaller groups. Nice quality towels, bed linens, mattresses, etc. Excellent lighting due to all the windows and strategic interior light placement.

Owners: Super nice. Thoughtful. Excellent with communication. If you pull up the house on Zillow, you’ll see how much time, energy, and talent they have poured into property over the past year. Pretty impressive.

Recommendations: Bring your own beach gear. If you have a lot of toys/chairs, you might want to bring a cart or wagon. Ace Hardware (near Food Lion) was our go-to for quality shovels/kites at a reasonable price.

I have been dreaming for so long for a vacation like the one we had at Coastal Vista. It was perfection, an absolute gem. The location, the home itself, all the details, and the VIEW! Breakfast lunch and dinner I could spend all day listening to the waves and skygazing: ocean sunrise, sunset, moon and stars! In spite of the dreamy comfortable beds, I could hardly sleep, because I savored *every* moment we were there. Very short walk to the beach and such a lovely walk! So close to the pier too! I got to revisit my childhood memories on Emerald Isle with all my family and i was absolutely enchanted.

Everything was perfect, easy check in and check out, keyless everything, and the owners were so kind and wonderful. We had some family visiting from France, and they were so impressed! Thanks for everything, we hope to be back soon!

Amazing views, clean home, and a very short walk to the beach. We had the best time staying in this beautiful home!

Very clean, spacious home. Everything was as described. Had a lovely low key week. Beach is a perfectly short walk from the driveway. Only downside was the walk down the driveway is very steep and my mother n law had a hard time getting back up it. Otherwise perfect stay and hope to one day maybe return!

Perfect place to stay for a big group in Emerald Isle!!

Location: Perfect, centralized to everything you could want in the area. Great grocery stores 5min away, donuts, ice cream, restaurants, calming 15min walk to the pier via the beach, easy 5min walk from house to sitting on the beach. Amazing location. Couldn’t get better unless directly on the beach but, we did not feel like we were missing out on anything. It is tucked away, but close enough to see and hear the ocean. Amazing. It actually felt more private and reserved than being directly on the beach. We loved it.

Amenities: Stocked! Everything you could want or need while away from home. Fully stocked kitchen wanting for nothing. You can cook or bake anything you’d like from boiling water for tea, or breaking out the big guns for a low country boil. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, and appliances. Including a stand alone ice machine which was clutch for filling your cooler on those long beach days, and then coming home for cocktails.

Decor: Fantastic! Clean beach vibes with beautiful views from the top 3 levels and the two decks. 4 wonderful king size beds with comfy soft sheets and extra blankets and pillows if needed. Plus a bunk room and another room with a full size and twin bed. Plenty of seating for everyone upstairs, and extra spaces on the lower floors to get away and have your own place. Very clean and homey.

Overall an amazing space and we would love to stay again next year. It has something for everyone, and It really is a perfect beach getaway home.

We rented this beach house for a week and it met all of our expectations plus more. The house is well appointed with all amenities you would need. The modern and updated decor was very nice and comfortable. The house is within a 5 minute walk to the beach and has great views of the ocean. We will definitely be back and would recommend this house to anyone looking for a large beach house rental.

Our family has rented quite a few beach houses over the decades- Coastal Vista was, by far, absolutely the best! It’s beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked with cooking implements people actually want to use – no rusted knives or broken can openers in this kitchen! The view is beautiful and the walk to the beach is paved, so it’s easy to transport children and beach gear. The bedroom suites with quiet sitting areas made it possible for the telecommuters in our group to work without interruption, while the common area off the kitchen was large enough for the entire family to socialize in the evening. We just loved everything about Coastal Vista!

Family beach fun

First time using VRBO and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is. The owners, Russ & Lindsay were very helpful answering questions and getting right back to us. The house is beautiful, perfectly laid out for a large family with a very well equipped kitchen! Close to the all important things. (Grocery stores, ice cream & souvenir shops, donut shop, restaurants) The beach is close and very clean. Our family had a great time and fell in love with Emerald Isle!

Perfect beach stay

Beautiful home, very well appointed with anything and everything you need for a complete vacation. Owner was very responsive and made our vacation very comfortable and enjoyable. Location couldn’t be better and the view of the ocean was breathtaking! Loved the deck too!

Perfect for group beach retreat

We had 6 couples for a long beach weekend and Coastal Vista was perfect! Lots of room for everyone whether preparing and eating meals together in the kitchen or hanging out on the deck. The kitchen was stocked with high quality cookware and had many amenities including a large icemaker. The location was great – just a short walk to the public beach access boardwalk. The elevator in the house came in handy when unloading and loading our belongings. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was everything they said it would be!! Top of the line everything!! It is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious!! I said everyday we were there that the only thing that would make it better would be being oceanfront!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was clean, free of clutter & cozy. It accommodated our large extended family well with room to spare. The location was perfect. The kitchen had everything you needed for a long stay. The elevator was helpful to carry groceries up and for older family members. The children loved the bunk room. We hope to be back here very soon!

Beautiful home & great location!

This is such a tastefully decorated home with comfortable, modern looking looking furniture. There’s room on each floor for people to have their own space. It has beautiful beach views from all windows. We even saw dolphins from the house! Bonus points for the elevator which is so convenient for luggage and groceries. It was also very clean so kudos to the cleaning crew. It’s a short walk to the beach and coffee shops, donuts, restaurants, etc. Great location! Special thanks to Lindsay at Evolve who was immediately responsive when we couldn’t figure out the gas grill! We had a great time! 

Coastal Vista was as described. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the very comfortable beds to the views from the upper deck our vacation was very pleasant and we would gladly stay there again and recommendit to our other family and friends.

This home was amazing and perfect for our family vacation! Everything was absolutely beautiful and in great condition. The kitchen was so well stocked it had all the equipment needed to make a wide variety of meals! The perfect distance from the beach! Gorgeous views from the balconies and beautiful beach! Wonderful vacation home in which to make family memories!

This home is beautiful and was just perfect for our family of 17 ( 10 adults and 7 children, ages 2 to 11,) to enjoy Emerald Isle for a week. Everyone had very comfortable beds and convenient access to bathrooms. As the patriarch and matriarch of the family, my husband and I enjoyed our suite on the bottom floor with bath and sitting room right beside us, where we spent quiet time in the morning before we heard footsteps above us. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, and dish that we desired. The two decks facing the ocean were just the ticket for those who loved to sit and watch and hear the ocean instead of being in it, and / or eat dinner out there as there were tables and chairs available for that as well. And, plenty of rocking chairs. The home is conveniently located, a grocery store is not far away and a donut shop is right up the street, which was a delight for our family. And, it was literally 300 steps from the end of their driveway to the boardwalk access to the beach. ( I counted them:) ) We all visited Ft. Macon State Park and found that to be very interesting with lots of history. Some of our family rented bikes for a few days and enjoyed riding on the trails. And, very important to us, the owner was very easy to communicate with when we had questions, and was quick to respond to them. We would recommend this beautiful home and if going back with our family to Emerald Isle, we would rent it again. It is a gem. 

Hot tub needed some attention. Owner Lindsay was very responsive is text and had a technician there Monday early to correct the issue. Location is absolutely awesome! Lots of room for our large group and everyone had their own space. Memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

The house and location are absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed our short walk to the beach. I’ve never seen a place with so many necessary everyday items in it already. We enjoyed all of it! Except that monster mountain driveway!! Whew. That was a bear! Thank you for your hospitality.

This house was amazing! It was everything promised in the listing. It was spacious, clean and well-appointed. This is a perfect memory-making house! The owner is also AWESOME! We did have a problem with the BBQ mid-week. We contacted the owner who responded within hours. She responded with the plan to replace it and apologized for the disruption to any grilling plans.. The next day the BBQ was replaced at the time she indicated. We did nothing. The people brought the new one, connected it up, removed the old one and we BBQ’d dinner! Bottom line: We all had an awesome stay at this beach house and appreciate the owners sharing it!

We stayed at “Coastal Vista” and it was just perfect. Everything was as described, and the host was responsive and worked with us when a few issues arose. We would be happy to stay there again.

This house was lovely, clean, well-appointed- great beds/ linens/ luxury towels and comfortable furniture. The Homeowner was very responsive to issues discovered upon arrival- 3 of the oven’s digital temperature number buttons were not working, and second fridge in the laundry was dying and did not keep items cold or frozen. She said she plans to replace these appliances, and we were easily able to work around the quirks. The main kitchen fridge is huge, and the ice machine allows for keeping extra food cold in coolers, if needed. We made do programming the oven temp a bit higher or lower than recipes called for, using the numbers that actually worked. This house sits high on a small hilltop and gives stunning views . Tropical Storm Ophelia made landfall on Emerald Isle on our last night, but we felt safe in a strong house perched up high from any storm surge.

This is our second time staying here & it didn’t disappoint! We love all the space and how close it is to the beach!

Coastal Vista was absolutely beautiful! My group really enjoyed the beautiful balcony view and the cohesive design. This house was renovated without a single stone unturned, I could hardly tell the age of the house (except for the creaky floors/house noises). Only complaint was that there were no extra linens for the pullout couches. Brilliant home!

Coastal Vista is a well appointed and beautiful home! Lindsay was wonderful and provided thorough information before and during our trip. The home is a short walk to the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

This home is gorgeous, modern, and clean. The beds were comfortable. You’ll never want to leave the patios because the sound of the ocean and the beautiful view. All rooms had plenty of outlets. The WiFi and the technology were easy to use. The kitchen has anything you need. I would go back without hesitation.

A great house in a great place at Emerald Isle. Many stores and restaurants were a three or four block walk away. The home was well equipped, the amenities were beautiful, the owner extremely responsive and the beach access close by. It held our 10 person family easily with plenty of space for family gatherings as well as time alone. Almost anything one could want in the way of small kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware, pots and pan, glasses, and much more were available. Many games for evenings and cloudy days, televisions in every room, plenty of outdoor seating on the two porches, and an elevator made our stay a dream. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend Coastal Vista to any one going to Emerald Isle.

We’ve stayed at this home many times. The new owners have done a great job updating and brightening up the home. Perfect home for a family in a great area of the island. The hosts are great, very welcoming and they provided so much information to make our stay relaxing, comforting and stress-free. We will be back to make more memories!!

Perfect Vacation

Our annual ladies trip at Coastal Vista was nothing short of magical. It was without a doubt, the best vacation we’ve ever experienced. The house was a breathtaking sanctuary, overflowing with beauty and charm, and it provided everything our hearts could possibly desire. Lindsay, our wonderful hostess, was simply a gem! She made herself available for us at every turn, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing less than perfect.

Seven writer friends gathered from around the country in Emerald Isle. This proved to be a perfect spot to rest, relax, enjoy the beauty of the (very nearby!) ocean, and even spend some time working on our projects. The views from the third floor were spectacular, and the “flipped” layout worked perfectly for our needs. We also greatly appreciated the host’s responsiveness.

Great place to stay with 11 family members. We really enjoyed the space and the different levels so everyone could be together without being on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked for large family gatherings.
